Four Square to Every Wind that Blows is a phrase my Granddad used
to say throughout his life particularly at times of challenge and crisis.

Wind happens - sometimes our lives are propelled along by a persistent
and gentle breeze; sometimes a more determined wind; sometimes a
gale-force storm. There are also times that the breeze seems to have
disappeared and we sit on calm seas apparently going nowhere.

If we don't have our sails up in any of those situations, we will be blown
erratically, with no control, no direction and likely miss our destination.
If we try to sail into the wind, sails or no sails, we will make very little
progress as the wind will continually push against us. However, if we turn
our ship INTO the wind, and let that breeze fill our square sails, suddenly we can work WITH the wind and not only move in the directions we want, but also control those directions.

Four square sails filled with the winds of life, allow us to harness that incredible power and energy to move our lives forward in whatever way we choose. Harnessing that power allows us to find out where we want to go and how we want to get there and gives us control no matter the force of the wind we encounter.
